Nestled high in the Colorado Rockies, this area offers breathtaking views of Mount Elbert, Mount Massive, and endless aspen groves that come alive each autumn. Julia & Brandon opted for fall engagement session nestled in the heart of Rocky Mountains in a place dear to them. We started the evening with a drive down a 4x4 road into a golden aspen grove. It was a crisp and cozy fall evening and everything we were looking for! Leadville has an abundance of hidden gems off the beaten path for adventure elopements off the beaten path. We parked and continued hiking into the trees with their sweet pup.
After some great shots and laughs in the fall aspens, we kept hiking until we were in a bit of a clearing with Mount Massive and Mount Elbert in the background and towering green pines and fall colors beside us. We got out here just in time for sunset and the golden light poured through the valley. It was truly *chefs kiss* magical! They ended the evening dancing in the golden light of the peaks and full of love. One of the best parts? We didn't see a single soul, it was like we had this alpine retreat all to ourselves.
